Bookings, Check-ins, and Pick-ups

  • Please complete the online form for Scuba diving, snorkeling, or fishing. Completing this form allows us to check our schedule to ensure we have the space available for you. We will contact you with confirmation or any changes that need to be made to the reservation.

  • We can also be contacted at challengediving@gmail.com.

  • Our shop is located at Marina Asipona. Check our Google Map location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/rTLwGP7cdJofjScz7

  • For divers and snorkelers, we offer Hotel/Resort pick-ups south of the marina. If you would like a pick-up for your days of diving, we request you let us know prior to your first day of diving so we can arrange pick-up times in advance for you and other customers. This can be requested on the form that you fill out on our website: ChallengeDivingCozumel.com

  • We only pick up at oceanfront locations south of our shop on the way to the reefs. Some locations charge a fee of approximately $2-10 per person per day. You are responsible for paying this fee prior to the pick-up time

  • You can also meet us at the marina but are responsible for your own transportation to and from the marina. There are taxis available after dives.

  • Dive Computers are required for diving. Please make sure you have your own dive computer or gauges for your dive. We will check your air throughout the dives.

  • Discover Scuba customers will receive gear which is included in the price of the dives.

Cancellation Policies

We totally understand that plans can change, and we’ll always do our best to be flexible. Here’s how our cancellation policy works:

  • 7 Days or More in Advance
    If you cancel at least 7 days before your first scheduled dive, you’ll receive a full refund of your deposit—no worries at all!

  • Less Than 7 Days in Advance
    If you need to cancel within 7 days of your first dive, we’ll refund 50% of your deposit.

  • Less Than 48 Hours in Advance
    Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your first dive unfortunately aren’t eligible for a refund.

  • Same-Day Cancellations
    We understand that plans can change, but please note that same-day cancellations will still be charged for the dives, as we've already made preparations to welcome you and ensure everything is ready for your dive.

Payments

  • All prices are in US dollars.

  • Accepted payment includes: Cash - U.S. dollars or Pesos and credit cards. 

  • A 5% transaction fee will be added to payments done with credit cards/PayPal.

Scuba Diving Policy

  • All certified divers must show proof of their SCUBA diving certification from a recognized certifying agency.

  • Challenge Diving strongly recommends all participants to acquire a DAN membership that provides emergency medical assistance and travel insurance. This will help in case of an unexpected emergency.

  • In Cozumel, we dive in a protected marine park which has specific rules and regulations. Under Park Rules it is strictly prohibited to:

    • Stand on or take hold of the coral reefs.

    • Fish for, collect, or disturb any marine organism (fish, coral, shells, winkles, starfish, etc).

    • Use sunblock or suntan oil that is not biodegradable.

    • Carry spears, hooks, harpoons, or explosives.

    • Carry gloves or knives (dive professionals may register to carry such items).

    • Disturb or remove fauna and flora from their refuges.

    • Feed any fish or animal.
